    Hi,

    Yes, you can take the AZ-301 exam without passing the AZ-300 first, there's no specific order you have to follow when taking these exams.

    Yes, you can go for 301. But passing only 301 won't give Expert certification. In my opinion, you should try once again for 300. Use practice tests from whizlabs site that should help.
