Windows 11 Insider: Your organization manages Insider Preview builds through a telemetry Group Policy Setting.

Question

I am trying to enable the Windows 11 insider on my home computer. When I go to the insider program settings it says: "Your organization manages Insider Preview builds through a telemetry Group Policy Setting."

The problem is, this computer is not part of an organization, it is a personal computer used at home. I have tried to enable this via group policies but I'd really rather have the ability to just use my computer's settings.

When I try to change my network type to a home computer (system properties -> computer name -> network ID) it doesn't keep the setting once I've switched it.

Is there a solution for this?

I'm not sure if it is possible to achieve your aim without setting group policy or without edit registry,

I found the relevant option in gpo setting, Please check if it will be helpful, before making any changes, it is save to set a restore point.
