Hi,

I have several problems on Windows 2019 Server on an Hyper-V host in combination with iScsi drives. Eventlog messages are: iScsiPrt: Initiator sent a task management command to reset the target. The target name is given in the dump data - Event-ID 39. Initiator could not find a match for the initiator task tag in the received PDU. Dump data contains the entire iSCSI header - Event-ID 27. Target did not respond in time for a SCSI request. The CDB is given in the dump data - Event-ID 9.

On Windows 2016 there is no problem - unfortunately I have no restore point for 2016 - any suggestions?

Best Regards,

Joachim

    Hi,

Hyper-V is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Hyper-V forum over here:

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A. According to your description, your issue seems more related with Windows Server Hyper-V. As the Server topic have not moved to Microsoft Q&A yet, please kindly re-post your issue to forum TechNet.

Note that TechNet is retiring soon, and all supported forums would be moved to Microsoft Q&A later. Please watch out for our future announcements.

    Best Regards,
