Followed the instructions for deploying the lab on a win 10 pc. All 7 client vm's turn on and work. None of the rest of the vm's will start including HYD-DC1, HYD-CM1 etc..

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to our new Microsoft Q&A Platform.

In the Deployment Lab Guides_1909.zip, there is a document called Lab Kit_1909_set up guide.docx, open it and read the part of 5.Troubleshooting Tips

    We can see that:

    1. The easiest way to address lab installation issues is to simply reinstall. To reinstall the lab, you must remove the virtual machines and virtual switches from the Hyper-V Console and delete the extracted folder. See Section 4.
    2. Do not reinstall a lab from a previously extracted lab folder as this may cause the provisioning process to fail.
    3. If one of the VMs does not immediately connect to the network, log into each VM and wait 5-10 minutes before remediating. If a VM is still not connecting, restart. If connectivity is still an issue, try adding the External 2 virtual switch to the VM. In Hyper-V, select the VM and right-click to go to Settings. Select Add Hardware > Network Adapter and select “External 2”.

I had the same issue. I ended up taking a screenshot of the settings of each server and then deleted it. I then created a new gen2 VM named HYD-DC1 for example, copying the hardware setup from before and then choosing the option to use an existing virtual hard drive and pointing to that in the extracted folder of the server name. Repeated that for all servers.

I also made sure the internal network card of HYD-DC1 was set to 10.0.0.6

Had the same issue. I changed the ram for server from 1024MB to 2048MB and they started without a problem.
