PDF or Word sais its unauthorized

When I send a Word or PDF file to my teacher on Teams it sais that she is unauthorized to view the file. It works when I send it through messager. Any idea on why is doesnt work on Teams?

Do any other office applications have the same phenomenon in your Teams client?

Do you mean these specific person cannot view the file normally if files uploaded to Teams channels?

To narrow down the issue, could you provide the screenshot of error message?

According to your description, we assumed that Teams have set the file permission for the specific users and restrict them to open files normally.

As a workaround, you can go to the team members tab and change the user permission to OWNER and then back the MEMBER.

Hi! It does work when I try to do that. I tried signing in on another device but it does the same thing. The image I will attach is what it sais to the users when they try to open a file I send them (it sais you don't have acmes to the file in French):
