Hello. We are testing deduplication on Windows Server 2019.

We have two sections - D: and E :.

On drive D: deduplication worked without problems, saving 68% space. (10TB disk)

On disk E: the savings rate was 29% (19TB disk) when running an optimization job with 100% CPU load and 80% RAM allocation. (There is a total of 16GB of RAM on the server).

On drive E: deduplication stops with error:

> Optimization job has completed.

Volume: E: (\?\Volume{5e8007ea-95f6-45d5-8ef6-892fdadbfba6}) Error code: 0x8007000E Error message: Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation.

    Hi!

After increasing the amount of virtual memory on all disks (16GB on each disk), the optimization task ran for 15 minutes and ended with the Additional Data: Error Value: 2153141027 (task scheduler) error. There are no errors in the event viewer.

To solve this problem, you need to increase the amount of actual free space on the volume where deduplication is performed.
