office Word blue background color in read mode

Hello, I like to read the chapter of an online story i am following in read mode of word with the page inversed. So white letters and a black background, cuts down on the hurting eyes. the problem is tough that for some chapters the complete background is blue while in read mode and that is very annoying. do you guys have any suggestions? I have tried select all and then ctrl spacebar but that does not work
