Is there a way to generate custom reports from a SQL Server Express database?
I'm building a UWP app from which the user should be able to print or export the report to PDF.
Any help appreciated.

I'm a little confused. Do you mean after you get report from the SQL Server in UWP app, you want to custom the report in UWP? Or you want to do some configure in SQL Server so that you could directly get the custom data report from SQL Server without extra work in the UWP app?
I need to be able to export the returned data to PDF format.
I know how to return and display data in UWP.

Do you mean when you want to configure the SQL Server Express database to get data in PDF format when you get the report from it?
Basically, I don't have any way of generating a report.
I have data in SQL Server Express, but I don't know how to export it.
The client wants to be able to view the data in app (no issues here), and also export said data to PDF format.
