How do I delete an old Teams account on Mac?

I am on macOS Sequoia 15.3.1.

I left a previous organisation and don't have the password for that login any more. I can't use Teams as it says I need to log in to the old account and I can't use the new account without doing that.

I have tried deleting files in Keychain and in the Library but to no avail, how can I delete this old user?

    Hi @Richard Winterburn

According to your case description, you are stuck with your old account and cannot use Teams. We recommend that you follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

    1. Completely exit Teams: Make sure Microsoft Teams is completely exited. You can right-click the Teams icon in the Dock and select "Exit".
    2. Clear Teams cache: User's image
    3. Delete Teams credentials in the keychain: Open the "Keychain Access" application. Delete all entries related to Microsoft Teams.
    4. Restart your computer: After completing the above steps, restart your Mac.

If the above steps still do not work, you need to uninstall Teams and clear the related user files, and then download the latest version of Teams to install.
