manage account in azure databricks

Question

Hi Guys hope you are fine. I am trying to login to https://accounts.azuredatabricks.net/login with my intra id and giving it same password of my azure portal acount but it is giving me the error that password is not correct. although it is working fine for me when i am using it to login in azure portal. Just for the info i am using azure free account

Thanks for reaching out! The issue you're facing is likely because the Azure Databricks Account Console uses a different authentication mechanism than the Azure Portal.

Even though your Azure credentials work for signing in to the portal, they may not automatically grant you access to the Databricks Account Console unless you are explicitly added as an account administrator.

If you're trying to access Databricks, the recommended way is to go to the Azure Portal, navigate to Azure Databricks, and click "Launch Workspace" this should log you in without needing separate credentials. If you believe you should have access to the Account Console, try resetting your Databricks password using the "Forgot password?" option on the login page.

Also, since you're using an Azure Free Account, ensure that Databricks is enabled under your subscription by checking the "Resource Providers" section in the Azure Portal.
If your organization uses Azure AD (Entra ID) authentication, you may need to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) instead of entering a password manually. Let me know if you're still facing issues!
