Following runbooks we are not able to stop/ suspend. we tried following ways of stopping : Manually stop/suspend job Using REST API call from ADF to stop the jobs Restarted hybrid worker service Tried deleting runbook and again creating it Still the runbooks are in 'Running' state.

If you are unable to stop or suspend Azure Automation runbooks using manual methods, REST API calls, restarting the hybrid worker service, or recreating the runbooks, try these steps:

Check Runbook Execution: Review the code for infinite loops or long-running processes that may prevent the runbook from completing.

Force Stop Using PowerShell: Use PowerShell to forcefully stop the runbook job. Example script:

Get-AzAutomationJob -ResourceGroupName "<ResourceGroup>" -AutomationAccountName "<AutomationAccount>" | Where-Object { $_.RunbookName -eq "<RunbookName>" -and $_.Status -eq "Running" }

Review Azure Automation Logs: Look for any errors or warnings in the logs that might explain why the runbooks are stuck.
