Word will not allow me to save documents it is giving the Error Tag: 657rx Error Code: 2148073520.

Question

Word is allowing me to edit documents and print changes, but when I attempt to save my work or reopen Word to access the changed document I receive this error code:

Does this issue occur with all Word or all files?

Where do you store the Word documents? Please change the file location to check this issue.

Besides, could you please tell us which version of Office are you using? To get this information, please go to Word, click File > Account > Product Information.

The Error Tag: 657rx might be an account authentication issue.

I suggest you sign out all accounts in your Office, then close all Office apps.

Please go to Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, disconnect any accounts there.

Reopen a Word document and save it for a check.
