Has free access for the 365 Developer Program ended, except for those who have a paid Visual Studio subscription?

I get the same error code 50001 that everyone else is getting.

I get the same regurgitated answers telling me to try a different browser, etc.

I can't get anywhere and can't get any real answers.

I keep getting told to buy a subscription for Visual Studio.

Did Microsoft end this program's free access and not tell anyone?

I sure would like to learn Fabric, but I can't afford the $1000 price tag.

One, just ONE actual answer from an actual employee who actually knows what is going on. That's all I (and dozens, if not hundreds of others) ask. This is very frustrating for those of us who want to learn. It's not surprising that I hear more and more chatter about using AWS's services.
