Hello,
I want to buy for personal use Windows Server Standard 2019 .
I am not sure what is the cheapest license I can buy for home/personal use.
I asked a store and they tried to sell me 1k $ license type and I believe it's pretty expensive for personal use.
Can you please recommend what should I buy?

Buying a server-class system and a Windows Server license is very expensive. The WS license itself is over $900 US. A better bet, in my opinion, is to use a virtual machine on Azure. There is a free Azure tier that's good for a year. ASee https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/. This service allows you to create virtual Windows servers so you can practice. If you elect to continue, Azure has pay-as-you-go services.
