I am a Global Administrator for my tenant. I am trying to create Blob Storage for some bulk file generation. However, when I try to create the Storage Account for the Blob Storage, I am getting errors about my account not being authorized to create the storage account. How do I get this fixed?

I understand authorization issues despite being a Global Administrator. I Suggest some steps you can follow to resolve the issue, ensure that your account has the necessary Azure roles assigned. As a Global Administrator, you should have the required permissions, but sometimes specific roles like Storage Account Contributor or Storage Blob Data Contributor might be needed
Azure RBAC is crucial for managing permissions. Make sure your account has the appropriate RBAC roles assigned at the subscription, resource group, or storage account level, When accessing blob data, you can use your Microsoft Entra account. Ensure that your account is configured to use Microsoft Entra ID for authorization
If the storage account is locked with a Read-only lock, it can prevent certain operations. Verify that there are no locks on the storage account that might be causing the issue
You can assign roles using the Azure portal. Navigate to the storage account, go to the Access control (IAM) section, and assign the necessary roles to your account
If you prefer a graphical interface, you can use Azure Storage Explorer to create and manage blob storage. This tool can help you create containers, upload blobs, and manage access policies

I am getting the following error. Also, when I navigate to the Subscriptions/Access Control (IAM), I am not able to assign myself the Storage Account priveledges I need in order to create a Storage Account or Blob Storage.
