The workflow is scheduled to run from an internally hosted yyyyyy server “nhi-xxxxap09- 12.34.56”, every hour. Below is a successful run, followed by three failed runs. Can you please check the “Xxxxxxxx.window .net” server access logs connection listed below. I need to determine if this is network or database related. From the looks of the error, it seems the workflow can’t establish a connection to the database server, but I need to confirm.

Check SQL Server Configuration Ensure that the SQL Server instance is configured to allow remote connections. You can do this by opening SQL Server Configuration Manager, navigating to SQL Server Network Configuration, and enabling TCP/IP

Review SQL Server Error Logs: Check the SQL Server error logs for any specific error messages related to the logon failures. This can provide more insight into the root cause of the issue.

Verify Firewall Settings: Make sure that SQL Server Port 1433 is open for inbound and outbound connections in Windows Firewall and in the Network Security Group (NSG) if applicable

Access Logs Using SQL Queries: To access the log files in Azure SQL Server, you can use the following query in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS):
SELECT * FROM sys.fn_get_audit_file ('https://yourstoragename.blob.core.windows.net/yourcontainername/yourlogfile.log', default, default);
