Unable to connect Network share on a Azure VM from Azure Logic Apps (Standard)

I have an Azure Virtual Machine and Azure Logic Apps in the same region. I created a folder on the VM as a network drive and need to connect it to Azure Logic Apps (Standard - ASE3) to send and receive files. The Logic Apps and the VM are connected via separate subnets (VNET). Also SMB 445 is allowed on both inbound and outbound (NSG Level).

Please help me on this. Also please let me know if you have more questions.

Hi @Ramanarajan D , please provide more details about "not working": what error message did you receive? Did you use hostname or IP address of the VM? What type of user (local VM user or Entra ID) did you use to authenticate on the Logic App connector? Have you tried mounting the share drive from another VM?

I receive this below errors,
First I tried actual VM network path and then mounted path

VM Network Path:

Mount Path (from Kudu):

I used File System (In App) connector. And I tried both VM name as well as IP address.

Root folder (I tried two):
VM Network Path: \10.1.0.4\MyShareFolder

Mount Path (from Kudu): C:\mounts\FileSystem-4

Username (I tried two): Ramana and 10.1.0.4\Ramana

Password: Password I used to login the machine (password of **10.1.0.4\Ramana)
**
User type is local not Entra ID.

I didn't try mounting the share drive from another VM?

Also, when I tried Test-NetConnection from Kudu it gives false for SMB port 445

Hi @Ramanarajan D , you mentioned that your VM and ASE (App Service Environment) are in different subnet. Are those subnets in the same vnet? Did you try pinging VM from ASE using ICMP (make sure the VM allows ICMP reply)?
