Hello. I have a problem with mapping a network drive. When I try to map it, after entering //Ip/access_path a window pops up asking for network credentials. The problem is because I didn't set them. In the credentials manager I have deleted the entry and in the advanced windows settings - all networks - - password protected sharing - the slider is also "disabled". What's the problem? I am logged in as an administrator.

It used to work normally and the Zidoo drive was displayed in My Computer and I didn't change anything that it broke. Zidoo does not require any applications or special settings. It is Windows that asks for password authentication to verify my identity. I quote -

"you cannot access this shared folder because your organization's security policy prevents access by unauthenticated guests. These policies help protect your computer from malicious and unsafe devices on your network" I am currently logged in with a local account and it is the same: Username:

Password:

But what username and password? :(

I was redirected to Learn from Microsoft Support Community.

Thank you.
