How to Start a New Chat with a MS Copilot Studios Agent published in MS Teams

Hello,

After adding a Microsoft Copilot Studios Agent to MS Teams and chatting with, I want to Start a New Chat but I don't see a button for this. Can someone help?

According to your case description, you want to start a new chat with the published MS Copilot Studios agent in Microsoft Teams.

If the agent is already installed in your Teams, you can find it in the left navigation bar or by searching in "···".

If the agent is not installed, you need to install it first. You can search and install the agent through the link provided by the administrator or in the Teams app store. For specific operations, please refer to the [official documentation].

Hello, thanks for your response but I think my question wasn't clear enough.

The situation is: I published the Copilot Studios Agent, added it to Teams and started chatting with it. But now I want to start a new clean chat with it and removing all previous messages and emptying the canvas.

How can I do this?

Now you want to start a new clean chat with a Copilot Studios agent in Teams and delete all previous messages.

According to our tests, start a new chat:

In an existing conversation, enter the "Restart" or "Start again" command. This will immediately start a new conversation and see the agent's latest updates. But it will not delete all previous messages.

When you customize the topic of the Copilot Studios agent, you can give different trigger phrases to achieve the results you want. For example, a sentence to restart, or automatically start a new topic after ending the conversation.

Currently, the Copilot Studios agent does not support the ability to delete a single chat history or clear all messages. To delete all chat history, you need to delete the entire agent in Copilot Studio. If deleting the agent does not meet your needs, you can create a new agent and start a new conversation.
