How do I fix error code 0x0800704f8

Question

Updated to WIn 11 24H recently and now I can not access my WD MyCloud NAS on the network. The NAS shows in File Explorer but when I try to access the drive it can't find the path. Can access the NAS software using the IP address. I never had trouble until the 24H update. Do I need the change the security policies? I need access to these files to work. How do I fix this?

Hello,

Few steps you could try to check:

1、Try to enable SMB 1.0 if required.

2、Map the NAS drive manually.

3、Check and enable SMB 2.0/3.0.

4、Disable Credential Guard temporarily.

Open Registry Editor (regedit).

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa

Find the LsaCfgFlags key. If it doesn't exist, create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value named LsaCfgFlags.

Set the value to 0 to disable Credential Guard.

Restart your computer.

5、Update the NAS firmware.
