Can I specify a public IP address in Hong Kong when creating a NIC for use with Azure VM?

    Hi Lewis,

    You may create your VM and its public IP address in East Asia Azure region and ip geolocation providers will likely show it as Hong Kong, since that is where the region is located. That has been my experience, however, there are many different IP geolocation databases so results may differ.
