Unable to sign up for the Microsoft Developer Program
I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing while trying to sign up for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program. I have followed the steps outlined on the Microsoft Learn website, but after entering my personal details and phone number, I do not receive the verification code message. Instead, I receive the following error message:
"We can't continue with the signup process right now due to an internal server error. Please try again later.
MS-CorrelationId: 00000000-ea3c-444e-a33c-9af16e48c928
Code: 50001"
I have:
- Tried a different browser, like Edge,
- Attempted incognito/private browsing mode
- Tried different phone numbers, from different countries
- Checked Microsoft Service Status
- Waited and retried over a few weeks
I noticed two other users have reported the same problem on the Microsoft website but have not yet had a resolution:
