Can Microsoft for Business be integrated with the Canvas LMS?

I know that Canvas LMS works seamlessly with Microsoft EDU workspace already. However, what if the client does not have an EDU account, and instead has a business account. They wish to use the features of Teams that currently exist in their Teams account, but they want them to integrate inside of the Canvas LMS. Is this possible to do? Can they login to both technologies with the same email (or use SSO) and use all the same Teams functionalities, only inside of Canvas?

Microsoft for Business can integrate with Canvas LMS. Even if customers do not have an EDU account but have an Enterprise account, they can still integrate the functionality of Microsoft Teams into Canvas LMS. By using the Microsoft Teams Assignment LTI® app, Enterprise account users can also bring Teams functionality (such as assignments, meetings, OneNote, etc.) into Canvas LMS.

However, you need to ensure the following:

• IT Admin Permissions: IT Admins are required to register and configure the Microsoft Teams Assignment LTI app in Canvas.
• User Mapping: Ensure that the Canvas user's email field matches the Microsoft 365 user's UPN or primary email address so that grades and feedback can be synced back to the Canvas gradebook.
