Links in an Excel file stored on OneDrive do not refer to local file

I have an Excel file that is created locally and backed up on OneDrive. I need to be able to give this Excel file to someone else who will not have access to my OneDrive file, and who may not even have a OneDrive account. Any links from one worksheet to another within the file show the path to the OneDrive file instead of the local file. How can I change the links to not refer to the OneDrive file? Instead of the link showing "https://d.docs.live.net/...[filename]'worksheet!cell'", I want it to just have "worksheet!cell". Editing the hyperlink does not work. I closed Excel and opened the local file explictly, and it still shows the OneDrive link.

    Hi,

Because files synced to OneDrive are online files that are synced in real-time.

It is recommended that you click on the OneDrive icon and go to Help & Settings>Settings>Office to uncheck the "Use Office application to sync Office files that I open" option to check this issue:
