Hello Team,

in my tenant, the setting for access control "unmanaged device" is "Allow Full Access"

There is not in the conditional access policy the Sharepoint policies when I change this setting, meaning that app enforcement is not enabled

All the conditional access policies are off, meaning that there are not conditional access policies that could affect the unmanaged devices

The site is new and it is not managed by sensitivity label, meaning that inherit all the Sharepoint admin settings:

So, If I open the site in Edge it works correctly

So, If I open the site in Chrome it works correctly

However, if we access the site using MOZILLA FIREFOX, I got the end-user experience WEB-LIMITED, meaning, I got the yellow notification that inform my device is not trust, I can't sync, can't print, can't download.

As you can see, the web-limited end-user experience is being applied without conditional access policy and not tenant level access control for unmanaged devices in Mozilla Firefox.

Do you have any idea where this setting is coming from? I believe from Intune or Purview, however, I don't have the most remote idea.

I opened a ticket with Microsoft Support however, no idea of this behaviour.
Based on your experience, do you have any idea where this restriction is coming from when I am using Mozilla or Firefox?

Best regards,

    Hi @Sergio Londono ,

In your case, since Edge and Chrome are functioning correctly, it suggests that they are compliant with the access policies, while Firefox may not be recognized as a trusted browser under the current settings. When access is limited, users on unmanaged devices typically have browser-only access with restrictions on downloading, printing, or syncing files. This can occur if the browser being used does not meet the requirements set by the conditional access policies or if there are specific settings in place that affect how different browsers interact with SharePoint.

Given that you've already opened a ticket with Microsoft Support, you can be patient and wait for the results over there. This is because they have higher access to view some hidden content in the backend as compared to us.
