How to configure Gateway subnet

Question

Hi Q&A team,

Actually i was working on site to site vpn connection so i've created resource group and vnet as well

so in the vnet>>subnet section i cannot find gateway subnet so i've tried multiple ways to find it could you please help me out.

Hi Vishwa,

You may navigate to your VNet in the portal and open Settings -- Subnets blade. At the top, click Subnet to add new subnet.

In the window on right, for Subnet purpose choose Virtual Network Gateway, fill out remaining options and click Add.

Hi @Vishwa Teja Devarakonda ,

please verify the created subnet is named GatewaySubnet.

It has to be this name otherwise it doesn't work to create the VPN Gateway.

Also please verify the size of the subnet fits the requirement:

We recommend that you create a gateway subnet that uses a /27 (or larger). For example, /27 or /26.
