I have performed Inplace upgrade

and got some error so I reinstall the Entra ID connect

and got following error

"For each new domain, your enterprise administrator must grant the necessary permissions to your synchronization account

and there is no ou to select

Anyone knows why this is happening？？

I understand that you are unable to see and select the OU for your domain, would try to click on the right corner of the box as shown in the below and see if you find the listed OU's

It's normal behavior because now with last version ,you cannot perform an upgrade in place to upgrade your EntraConnect to last version.

You have to use swing migration as mentioned to upgrade you server by following these steps :

Export EntraConnect settings Export EntraConnect settings

Uninstall old version

Install EntraConnect last version with using Exported file in Step 1

what can I do to perform inplace upgrade on the same condition???

In this case you can export settings then reinstall ENtraConnect using Exported settings

unfortunately upgrade in place is not possible to upgrade to last version.
