What is your account? Outlook.com or something else?
What is the version of your Outlook? It is recommended that you please check the Outlook client version (File>Office Account>Product Information) and try to upgrade to the latest version to see if the problem is resolved.
Would you please provide a screenshot of the issue? (In order to avoid privacy leakage, please remember to hide your personal information.)
In addition, here are some steps you may want to take:
- Run Outlook in Safe Mode:
- Press Windows + R keys.
- Type
Outlook.exe /safe
and press Enter. - Try to add your account again and see if the issue persists.
- Check for Software Conflicts:
- Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if they are interfering.
- Ensure your Windows operating system is up-to-date.
- Create a New Outlook Profile:
- Go to Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles.
- Click Add to create a new profile and set it up with your email account.
- Try saving the server settings with the new profile.
