Hi, I need to train a custom extraction model to detect signatures. If I train it on a subscription within one organization, is it possible to move only the model to a subscription in another organization? Thank you for your help

    Hello Dalla Verde, Giada,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for posting your questions here.

I understand that you would like to move a custom extraction model to a subscription belonging to a different organization.

    Regarding your questions:

Yes, you can move a custom extraction model to a subscription in a different organization. Azure Document Intelligence has features that allows you to copy your custom model to another subscription or region.

    To do it, you will:

    1. Provide the target location and subscription information in the copy authorization request.
    2. Use the Azure portal or API to initiate the copy process.
    3. Once the model is copied, a new target model ID will be generated for use in the new subscription.

The above process will help your custom extraction model, such as one trained to detect signatures, can be seamlessly transferred and used in a different organization's subscription.

I hope this is helpful! Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.
