Hello,

We've setup everything for Azure Migrate.

We put the software on our server and ran everything successfully, the appliance is registered and "Connected".

We now wanted to create an assessment for the migration, but unfortunately the Drop-Down options are never loading. In the console I see the error:

[Microsoft_Azure_Migrate] 8:54:35 AM MySqlAssessmentData: getMySqlAssessmentOptions-Datahelpers2 MySqlAssessmentData: getMySqlAssessmentOptions-Datahelpers2: Error getting the data. Also in the Assessment overview I always get an error message, saying:

"Failed to fetch Azure VM, Databases, and Azure VMWare Solution (AVS) assessments due to an internal error. This seems to be a transient issue, please allow some time for us to address it. We kindly request you to revisit after some time to review your Azure VM, Databases, and Azure VMWare Solution (AVS) assessments."

This problem persists since Tuesday morning.

    Hi @Bruno Fischlin,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand, you're facing a frustrating issue with Azure Migrate. The error messages you're encountering suggest that there may be an internal server error on Azure's side, which could be preventing the drop-down options from loading and causing the assessments to fail to fetch properly

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    • Verify if there are any ongoing issues or outages with Azure services in your region. You can do this by visiting the Azure Service Health page.
    • Since the error message mentions it could be a transient issue, try revisiting the assessment after some time. Sometimes, these issues resolve on their own.
    • Clear your browser cache and cookies or try accessing the Azure portal from a different browser or an incognito window.
    • Ensure that your network connection is stable and that there are no firewall or proxy settings blocking access to Azure services.
    • Double-check the configuration of your Azure Migrate appliance to ensure all prerequisites are met and that it has the necessary permissions to fetch data.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
