If your organization has multiple admins, try logging in with another administrator account to reset your permissions and reassign the Global Administrator role. If no other admin is available, check if you can access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to manage administrator settings. If access is blocked, request a Global Admin takeover from Microsoft by verifying domain ownership via DNS or providing proof of business ownership. I have attempted to login to my account to change my password. Microsoft tells me I haven't got authorisation to do so and an email has been sent to the organizations Administrator who no longer works within the organisation.
