Wrong time on my Laptop Windows 11 Pro

Windows 11 Pro (Laptop)

Region: set to Eastern Time USA

Issue: Clock = 5 minutes slow.

I tried resetting to Auto Zone location timing by permission settings - The auto is still grey.

Note: The issues started after a recent update.

    Press Win+R keys to open Run menu and type in services.msc and hit the Enter key.

    Locate Windows Time.

    Right-click Windows Time → Properties.

    Set Startup type to Automatic.

    Apply > OK.

    Reboot.


    In Start Search type timedate.cpl and hit the Enter key.

    Click Internet time Tab.

    Change Settings...

    Synchronize with an Internet time server.

    Select time.windows.com or try time.nist.gov.

    Click Update now, then OK.

    Hi Morris Lowi,

    Thanks for your post. Please try the following actions and see if it works.

    1. Update the windows to the latest.
    2. Uninstall and reinstalling some programs that known to cause issue such as antivirus and Razer synaps and etc...
    3. Boot the PC in safe mode and see if the problem still persists.
    4. Run the system health scan with following steps.

    Steps:

    1. Type "cmd" in windows search bar
    2. Right click on "Command Prompt"
    3. Select "Run as Administrator"
    4. Type "sfc /scannow" without quote and press ENTER

    Then :

    1. Type "cmd" in windows search bar
    2. Right click on "Command Prompt"
    3. Select "Run as Administrator"
    4. Type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" without quote and press ENTER
    5. Type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth" without quote and press ENTER
    6. Type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" without quote and press ENTER
