I can't sign up for Azure free trial because my credit card keeps getting declined even if the details are correct.

So at first, I was trying to sign up for Azure free trial. Multiple times, it says that I inputted invalid details for my debit mastercard, even though I inputted the exact same details I've always inputted. I've tested my card on steam and it works using the same details I inputted for Azure. I already got emails from my bank that the transaction failed for Azure, so I'm sure the details I inputted are correct and that the charge did go to the card. I also didn't get an OTP for the card after pressing the sign up button.

Occasionally, after inputting the details a few times, I get the error screen that "Microsoft is unable to verify my payment details or cards"? I forgot what the error message was exactly. Now I only get the error message, 'Something went wrong. We are investigating.' Did Microsoft block my account from signing up for a subscription? I need it quick for a program I'm enrolled in.

    Hi @Nicholas Nevan ,

as far as I know prepaid credit cards aren't supported with Azure payment methods.

Also there could be a country restriction issue with the credit card.

The best option might be to open a support request with Azure Support:

    Create an Azure support request

Azure Billing and Subscription support is offered by Microsoft by no cost and it's for free.
