I am going through the course: https://microsoftlearning.github.io/mslearn-fabric/Instructions/Labs/01-lakehouse.html

Well, it seems that Fabric is extremely raw so far. Some thing do not work like "move table to space", etc.

Latest step says:

  1. In the bar on the left, select the icon for your workspace to view all of the items it contains.
  2. In the toolbar, select Workspace settings.
  3. In the General section, select Remove this workspace.

When I click the button I see error:

User's image

ExistingMangedEndpointsPreventingWorkspaceSoftDeletion

Very explanatory error. How to remove workspace?

After 5 tries I removed lakehouse completely. So my workspace is like this:

User's image

But it changed nothing.

P.S. at the top I see User's image (x) (Close) button doesn't work either.

    Hi Pavel Goncharenko,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

The error message "ExistingManagedEndpointsPreventingWorkspaceSoftDeletion" means that your workspace still has managed endpoints or dependencies, even if it looks empty.

To fix this issue, try the following steps:

    1. Check for Managed Endpoints or Dependencies
    • Make sure there are no pipelines, linked services, or other configurations still connected to the workspace.
    • Use the Fabric Admin Portal or Power BI Admin APIs to check for any remaining resources.
    1. Remove Managed Endpoints
    • Delete any linked services or managed endpoints that are still associated with the workspace.
    • Ensure that the workspace is not part of any deployment pipelines.
    1. Try Deleting Again
    • Once all dependencies are removed, go to Workspace Settings and try deleting the workspace again.

If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance: Microsoft Fabric support
