I am in the process of migrating to application gateway v2 because application gateway v1 has been retired.

  1. How do I backup the existing application gateway v1 configuration before migrating to V2?
  2. Can I keep both application gateway v1 and v2 configurations on azure portal at the same time?

Both can coexist in the same subscription, resource group, and virtual network, but they will have different public/private IPs.
