Hello Tomáš Hála,
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
As of now, Windows 11 officially supports newer CPU generations (generally 8th generation Intel processors or later), and the Core i7-4810MQ—which is a 4th generation (Haswell) processor—is not on the list of supported CPUs. Microsoft established these requirements mainly for security and performance reasons.
There’s no indication from Microsoft that they will extend official support in the future to CPUs like the i7-4810MQ. While some enthusiasts have found unofficial workarounds (such as modifying registry settings to bypass the hardware checks), these methods are not supported by Microsoft and might lead to issues like missing updates or security vulnerabilities.
If you’re considering running Windows 11 on your notebook, it’s important to weigh these points. Official support is critical for receiving updates and technical assistance, so if you prefer a fully supported and secure environment, sticking with Windows 10 (which will be supported until October 2025) might be the best course of action, or you might look into another officially supported operating system.
