The windows 11 installation assistant says to use PC Health Check to check compatibility, which I have done and it says "This PC meets Windows 11 requirements". Windows 11 Installation Assistant won't let me continue. Pressing refresh doesn't do anything. I've tried restarting my PC. No sure what else to do here. I've also made sure that Windows Update shows that there are no pending updates.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are a few steps you can try :

    1. Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.

    • Select Windows Update and run the troubleshooter.

    1. Clear the SoftwareDistribution Folder:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.

    • Run the following commands one by one: net stop wuauserv net stop bits

    • Navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and delete all the contents of the folder.

    • Restart the services by running: net start wuauserv net start bits

    1. Use the Windows 11 Installation Media:

    • Download the Windows 11 ISO from the Microsoft Software Download website.

    • Mount the ISO file and run setup.exe.

    • On the initial screen, click “Change how Setup downloads updates” and select “Not right now”.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation

    1. Check for Driver Updates:

    • Ensure all your device drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website.

    1. Disable Third-Party Antivirus:

    • Temporarily disable any third-party antivirus software during the installation process.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Hello,

As the PC Health Check confirms your system is compatible, you can try upgrading via Windows 11 24H2 ISO file (latest version atm) manually:
