Patching on-prem servers with Azure Update Manager - empty update history

Question

Hi, I have completed patching on-prem servers with Azure Update Manager Proof of Concept only to see that on server I am missing update history:

On the AUM portal server is listed without pending updates (CUs for Windows Server 2025 and .NET Framework were successfully installed from AUM side).

Something is wrong here?

Check the Windows Update logs on your server for any error messages or indications that the updates were installed. You can find relevant logs in Event Viewer under:

Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > WindowsUpdateClient > Operational.

Go to Windows Update settings on your server and manually check for updates to make sure no updates are pending.

Open PowerShell with administrative rights and run the following command to list installed updates:

Get-Hotfix

In the Azure portal, review the logs or reports related to the update deployment to identify any errors or issues that may have occurred during the process.

Make sure the update settings in AUM are correct and the server is part of the right update group.

If necessary, reboot the server to ensure the updates are fully installed.
