ADF custom domain validation is pending for few days

Hi,

I added a domain in Azure Front Door Standard, added the TXT record in my DNS provider, however, it still pending few days. Then, I tried to regenerate the TXT record but it still pending

May I know how to fix it

I understand that you are trying to add a custom domain to Azure Front Door.

Could you let me know if you are using an Azure Managed certificate or a BYOC certificate?

Are you using Classic AFD or Standard/Premium?

Are you trying to configure a subdomain or root/apex domain?

May I ask how much time has elapsed since you added the TXT record?

Can you use the https://www.digwebinterface.com/ and check if the added TXT record had been propogated?

Hi Ganesh,

I added a subdomain and used Azure Managed certificate with Azure Frontdoor standard

For further information, I created this domain in Frontdoor few months ago for pre migration without any problem, however, I dont point the CNAME record to this domain. Now, I would like to do the migration and found it need to re-validate, then I regenerate the TXT record and update my DNS provider, but the Validation status is pending

I understand that you added a custom domain to your Azure Front Door but the domain validation with TXT record is stuck in "Pending" state for more than few days.

I request you to please Regenerate one more time If the issue persists then, we will need help from the backend support team. So, if you have a support plan, I request you file a support ticket, else please do let us know, we will try and help you get a one-time free technical support.

As per the below document, you can select Regenerate to refresh the TXT record then add the TXT record to your DNS provider again.

Yes, fixed, need to delete the domain and wait for few hours then added it back with adding the txt record, then it validated

Resolution: Yes, fixed, need to delete the domain and wait for few hours then added it back with adding the txt record, then it validated
