Dear Microsoft Certification Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request an exception for my Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate renewal exam, which expired on January 30, 2025. My certification was originally earned on January 29, 2023.

Unfortunately, I was unable to take the renewal exam within the allowed timeframe due to temporary lack of access to my mailbox, which prevented me from receiving the renewal notifications. As a result, I missed the renewal exam window by 4 days.

Given the circumstances, I kindly request your assistance in allowing me to take the renewal exam despite the expiration. I would greatly appreciate your support in enabling me to renew my certification.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration. I look forward to your response.

Kind regards

Charles

    Hi Charles,

Once a certification has expired the official policy requires you to retake the exam(s). You can ask a support moderator in Microsoft Credentials forum to make an exception if you want. I have no idea if they will grant you an exception or not.

You may use below link to ask question in Microsoft Credentials forum. A support moderator will respond typically within 2 business days:

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.
