How can I contact Microsoft for help when I cannot log in to Azure due to loss of MFA details in Authenticator app?

I am writing on behalf of a company I do consultancy work for. They have an Azure account, but have lost the details on the Authenticator app and can no longer log in.

It appears impossible for them to recover the log in, as all the options seem to require the MFA, and do not offer e.g. phone contact. Only the app is offered.

The same applies to opening a support case. This is not possible without logging in with MFA.

(That's why I'm posting for them - they can't even post here without MFA).

There is a list of phone numbers to call on this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

But even the Business support phone numbers are answered by a robot, which is unable to help and directs them to the support page which (surprise) requires MFA to use.

What can they (or I) do to recover the situation?
