I joined the Microsoft 365 Developer Program and set up a free, renewable Microsoft 365 E5 developer subscription. A domain and an administrator account was created for me. I can access the Microsoft 365 Developer Program Dashboard using my own personal Microsoft account. However, when I click on “Go to subscription” and successfully provide my password for the domain administrator account, it asks me to “Enter the code displayed in the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device". Even though I successfully installed the Microsoft Authenticator app on my mobile device, it does not show any codes. Did I miss a step to link my domain administrator account with the Microsoft Authenticator app?

May try this. Open Authenticator and at the top click the + symbol 1000078491

    Choose the Personal Account 1000078492

Then sign in with your credentials by choosing sign in with your personal account. Choose Sign in with Microsoft. 1000078493

That should add your account and display your code next to it. If not come back and I'll drive deeper. Hope this helps!

If you are the only admin and cannot access your account due to an authentication issue, it is suggested to contact the Data Protection team as we are from the community team and are not authorized to reset any user/admin accounts. The data protection team is the only support team to verify and reset the account. To find the Data Protection team's contact number, see Find Microsoft 365 for business support phone numbers by country or region - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn or Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support Phone numbers.

Depending on your country or region. For some countries, when calling the support number, although there are about 30 seconds opening as something "you can visit the link...." But you can ignore this opening and wait until the option, then "1" as a business email user, "1" again for technical help.

For some countries, it will be an automated conversation like: First, when you call the hotline, it asks what kind of problem you are worried about.

    Answered: authenticator.

    B: For education

    A: Are you an administrator?

    B: Yes.

A: Do you have the other admin in your organization?

    B: No.

    See if that helps
