Urgent Support Request: Issues with Azure Sponsorship and Entra ID Management
Dear Microsoft Support Team,
Three months ago, we were accepted into the Microsoft Startup program and have been utilizing Azure services since then. However, due to some initial misguidance, we inadvertently created multiple tenants. Two weeks ago, to resolve this issue, we contacted your support team and were advised to delete all tenants except the one associated with our active Azure sponsorship subscription (subscription ID starting with 50a).
During this process, we utilized various benefits across different tenants as follows:
• Tenant 1:
• Redeemed benefits: Outlook, Power Automate, etc.
• Domain verification was initially set up in this tenant.
• Tenant 2:
• Redeemed benefits: Azure credits.
• We moved domain verification to this tenant to primarily use Azure credits.
As a result of moving the domain verification to Tenant 2, we have encountered several critical issues:
- Outlook and Power Automate Access:
• These services were redeemed under Tenant 1 and cannot be reactivated in Tenant 2.
• Since domain verification was moved to Tenant 2, we are unable to utilize our Outlook services effectively.
- Entra ID Subscription:
• Typically, the Entra ID subscription is provided to us free of charge by Azure.
• Due to the aforementioned changes, we are unable to activate Entra ID in Tenant 2, where we are utilizing our Azure credits.
• When attempting to activate Entra ID (P1), we receive the following error message:
“Please try again in a few minutes. We are unable to complete the verification check on your payment method at this time.”
• We have attempted this process multiple times over the past two weeks without success.
Primary Concern:
The inability to activate Entra ID is severely hindering our operations, as many of our essential services and workflows depend on it. Without a functional Entra ID, we are unable to perform critical tasks necessary for our business operations.
We have opened multiple support cases regarding these issues; however, the support provided so far has been insufficient. These problems are disrupting our business processes, and we urgently require assistance from a knowledgeable and experienced representative who can help us resolve these issues promptly.
