Hi,

I'm experiencing a strange issue when updating a Windows 11 OS image using the "Schedule Updates" feature.

After updating the image with this feature:

  • First, I have to click "Reload" for the version to update. (This isn't my main concern, but I've never understood why this step is necessary...)

Then, the version appears as modified in the SCCM console.

  • I proceed to update all distribution points.

However, when I install a new machine, the installed version is not updated, and I can't figure out why.

I tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Removed all content sources from all distribution points and redistributed the image, but the issue persists.
  • Mounted the WIM using DISM to check the version, and it appears correct (26100.2894).

An idea ?

Thanks for your help

Best regards,

Izanagi

    Hi,

    26100.2894 is KB5050009

    26100.2605 is KB5048667
    26100.1742 is KB5043080

For testing purpose, can we merge KB5048667, based on version .1742 to see if the problem persists?

If yes, please check or upload OfflineServicingMgr.log, located in Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs for further troubleshooting.

    Regards,

    Alex
