Power button disabled after Windows Update

Dears,

i tried every single solution but did not work. I could not find which update is the main reason of the issue but i am sure that one of recent updates the reason of disabling power button.

when i use Fix problems using windows update, (Windows 11 version 24h2 ) power button starts to work. After several hours it is disabling because windows update automatically downloading the updates and there is no way to stop it.

i tried windows update to disable from services (it is turning manual and running after any restart) i tried to find to way disable it in Regedit but could not figure out.

now please someone can help me. is there any fix for updates? or simply should i reinstall windows 11 till windows find any solution?

Hello,

Firstly, I suggest that you could try to reinstall the chipset and bios driver.

On the Desktop press the Windows + X keys simultaneously.

In the list, click Command Prompt (Admin). If an administrator password or confirmation is required, enter the password or click Allow.

At the command prompt, type the following command sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Wait for the verification to finish and when finished, execute the next command.

At the Command Prompt (Admin), type the command dism /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealth and press Enter.

Wait for the scan to finish and when you are finished, restart your computer.

What's the update number you have installed? the latest security update is KB5050009. If you want to install it and disable update to check. You could follow the steps below to disable.
