Hi Kent Goodson,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.
To extend your Azure credits, you must advance to the next tier of the Microsoft for Startups program before your current credits expire. For example, progressing from Level 2 to Level 3 will grant additional credits and an extended usage period.
Your account will be reviewed approximately 45 days before your credits expire, provided you have completed the verification checklist in the Founders Hub. Approval is automatic if requirements are met. To improve your chances, ensure your engagement score is strong and all checklist tasks are up to date as your current phase concludes.
Please note, there is no mention of a one-month extension process in the available documentation.
