pivot and groupby function does not work in excel

The pivot and groupby function does not work in Excel, I have a Microsoft 365 E5 license, Excel is updated with version 24.11 build 18227.20222.

I ran Microsoft 365 Repair Tool and still have the issue.

It might help if you show us a sample of your data, the formulas you are using, and why the result are unsatisfactory.

Hi Guys,

According to the images, using Excel in the online version I can use the "PIVOTAR" and "GROUPBY" function, however when using the installed Desktop version, the function is not available.

Could you please check the Office update channel and Office version number?

To get this information, please click: File > Account > Product Information.

I suggest you use Current Channel.

This feature may not be available in Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel, such as Version 2408 (Build 17928.20392).

Because this update channel release new feature updates less frequently than Current Channel.

Thanks for your back. Version 2411 (Build 18227.20222) is in Monthly Enterprise Channel.

Based on my tests, this version does not include these 2 new Excel functions. If you want to use these 2 functions, please switch to Current Channel.
