How to redact CVV

Question

Hello. I am using Azure PII recognition to redact credit card numbers using the CreditCardNumber entity category. I am very happy with the results. I also need to redact the CVV verification number found on the back of the credit card in addition to the number. I couldn't find the relevant entity category I should use to do so. What is, if any, the entity category to use for redacting the CVV?

It's great to hear that you're happy with the results from using Azure PII recognition! Unfortunately, there isn't a specific entity category for redacting the CVV verification number directly. However, you can use the NumericIdentifier entity category to redact any numeric or alphanumeric identifier, which can include CVV numbers
