Hi @karthikeyan Sampathkumar ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, thank you for posting your query here!
Q) HA between DC (East us )and DR(Central us)?
A) Deploy a new Domain Controller (DC) in the DR region to serve as a failover option in the event of a failure in the primary DC, ensuring redundancy and high availability for Active Directory services.
Note Very Important below
- Establish VNet Peering between the VNets in the source and DR regions.
By implementing these steps, you ensure that the additional DC in the DR region is properly configured
B) Coming to the failback plan Right Approach: -
A) After failing back VMs to the primary region, you need to re protect them, so that they start replicating to the secondary region again.
Microsoft document Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/azure-to-azure-tutorial-failback
If you completely disable replication after failing back, Site Recovery cleans up machines protected by it. In this case, it also cleans up disks for VMs that don't use managed disks.
