My pc is saying i need to download the 4.0 though i already have it.

Question

Im currently having a few issues with my .net today. Im completely unable to launch anything that requires .net, and whenever i try to i get an error saying "to run this application you must install on o f the following versions of the .net framework V4.0" But when i do, it says it cant download because i already have it installed. Ive tried enabling and disabling the 4.8 and the 3.5 to no avail, and i really REALLY dont want to wipe my pc..

Try repairing the .NET Framework installation using the .NET Framework Repair Tool.

Ensure your system is up to date: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
